Our 3 day, 3 night retreat style, womban only, festival experience offers a journey through a variety of embodiment modalities - giving you space to interpret the language of your feminine spirit through shapes, rhythms, sounds and cycles.

Roots is a place of uninhibited, unfiltered, raw expression. We believe that as we gather in safety and sisterhood, we create a new paths forward for the times we have been shamed - even burned at the stake - for expressing ourselves and listening to our intuition.

Treat yourself and choose from a wide variety of remedial massages including Zen Thai, Traditional, Womb Healing or Reiki at our Massage Temple.

Our Tattuu Temple that offers sacred handpoked tattoo ceremonies with unique designs that are intuitively created just for Roots, weaved with love, prayers, and intentions.

Boogie into bliss with a line up of glorious local DJs playing both vibey bangers and chill, down tempo grooves.

Make your debut and/or take the stage on our Open Mic stage by the River.

Sensual Fire, Dance and Powerful Art-Activism Performances…. Watch in awe as your sisters take the stage and embody the archetypes of our feminine expression with moving ritualistic art and reclamation.

FAQs

This is mostly a BYO camping event - Bring your tent, sleeping bag and cooking set up to sleep under the stars, held by the trees and surrounded by sisters for 3 nights.
Our site has bathroom amenities on with hot showers, mirrors and emergency sanitary products.

Camping not your thing? We got you!
We have a limited number of basic huts + glamping style accomodation on-site available in our ticket add on section of the booking page!
A queen's feast dinner will be provided on Friday evening.

ALL other food to be brought with you, or choose our 'Food Add On' option on our ticket page to select healthy organic meals and not have to worry about lifting a finger!
Mamas, we welcome you! We are a village.
Please come equipped to this event for hot weather. Our site is pram friendly but you will need to bring your own camp set up. Music will be on until 12pm on Saturday, we advise bringing baby earmuffs just in case. There is accomodation & food add-on options if you would prefer to not have to set up your own tent or cook! There will be a Mama's Nook on site with toys, shade & some light entertainment for our babes.
We will also encourage other maidens and sisters to support you so that you can attend workshops.

Roots is set on 60 acres of Dharug & Darkinjung Country just 1.5 hours drive from Sydney.

Address will remain a secret until the week of the event.
Camping set up, yoga mat, food(unless you are getting the food add on), 20L water, lingerie(!) , sunscreen, towel, mosquito repellent, journal, instruments for your open mic debut, good vibes and an open heart.
